Application Rates for Granular Kelp Meal Fertilizer

Crops:   Broadcast - 300 lbs. per acre.  - In a row - 200-300 lbs. per acre.

Established Plants: Ornamentals and shrubs - 1 cup per 4 ft. of plant height:

- Apply in spring with new growth as needed throughout the year.

As a Soil Amendment:
 - Soils low in organic material - apply 2 lbs. per 60 sq. ft.

- Soils with medium organic material - apply 1 lb per 80-90 sq ft.

- Apply every year around drip zones.

To Improve Spot Areas in Lawns: Apply 1 cup per 3 sq. ft.

For Flowers and Gardens: Use 3 lbs. per 100 sq. ft.

For Trees: Use 1 lb. (or 3 cups) per 1 inch of trunk diameter.
